Our clients have a large deck with multiple areas dedicated to outdoor living. Off the family room is a generous dining table, moving to the outdoor kitchen, and finally to a living area. The only element missing from this well-appointed outdoor space was cover.
The design came naturally. With a hilltop view of Salem, Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood in the distance, this backyard is designed to enjoy. Wanting some space with full sun, the dining table enjoys shade from nearby mature landscaping during the summer months. The kitchen and living spaces are to be used throughout the year, necessitating shelter from Oregon’s changing weather. By installing a StruXure pergola, this deck is now a three-to-four-season outdoor living space.
